Bridge for the Dupont Branch

This is an abandoned bridge that used to take the Erie's Dupont branch over a creek in Newburgh NY. The Dupont branch as by it's name, serviced the Dupont chemical plant in Newburgh NY, as well as 14 other industries. The last business the siding served was Miron Lumber in the 1980's. Today, this siding is currently abandoned but intact for about a mile. Photo credits to Ray Kelly.
